After raising their son, Kyle, and growing a thriving business in Orange County, Cindy and her family chose Murrieta as their forever home in the fall of 2013. Her husband of 35 years, John was a Lieutenant in the United State Navy who served as a Riverboat Commander, Division 543 in Vietnam. During his service, he was exposed to Agent Orange and lost his life because of it. The Warren family have always been huge supporters of our military and veteran families and their support has never waivered to this day.
Cindy established her print, design, and promotional marketing business at the age of 24 and continues to thrive today, 45 years later. After moving to Murrieta, Cindy became an active member of the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce where she held many leadership positions and continues to be an engaged member today. She was honored to receive the 2018 and 2021 Ambassador of the Year award, and the Murrieta Citizen of the Year honors in 2021. Assemblywomen Melissa A. Melendez, 67th District presented Cindy with the State of California Woman of the Year award in 2020. The Rotary Club of Temecula surprised Cindy as their honoree for the RAVE Award, "Putting Service Above Self" in 2020. In 2021 MilVet Organization presented Cindy with the United States Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for her lifelong commitment to building a stronger nation through volunteer service“
Cindy is a proud graduate of both the Murrieta Fire & Rescue and the Murrieta Police Department's Citizens Academies.
Giving Back is a way of life for Cindy and her family. In the year 2000, Cindy and John established a registered 501 c 3 family non-profit organiation, Junior Amateur Golf Scholars. A organization to help junior golfers find a pathway to a college education through the game of golf hosting nationally ranked junior golf tournments throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona. Seeing the need for financial aid for college, the JAGS scholarship program was formed with all proceeds from the tour donated back to students helping to defray the cost of earning a degree in higher education.
After John's passing in 2014, Cindy and Kyle reorganized the organization and since 2015 host a yearly charity golf tournament proudly supporting Veteran and Military Families, Single Parent Families, Senior Citizens, First Responders, Educators, and 26 years of providing Scholarships for Higher Education opportunities just to name a few, through fundraising efforts in memory of their hero, Lt. John E. Warren.
GIVING BACK TO EMPOWER OTHERS TO MAKE A POSITIVE
AND UPLIFTING DIFFERENCE WITH INTEGRITY, HONOR AND CHARACTER!
Along with her city council responsibilites, running her business and the family non-profit organization, Cindy loves to spend time with her granddaughter, coach soccer, volunteer at a local Murrieta school, travel, read, garden, entertain and be an active member of Professional Women's Roundtable organization and the Murrieta/Wildomar Chamber of Commerce.
